Anaheim Supercross - February 2, 2002

It was a sold out crowd at Anaheim #3. The racing was fast and furious. The point series was really heating up by this event in both the 125 class and 250 class. I was really impressed by James Stewart's riding. He didn't win the main but I was very impressed by his skills. If you haven't had a chance to see him ride, believe me, he has lived up to the hype and will go very far in the sport for sure.

I have to give props to KTM's Broc Sellards for leading it start to finish. I think alot of great riders are being over shadowed by the 16 year old phenom. I bet the 125 shoot out in Vegas will be awesome to say the least. I'll go on record right now and call Chad Reed for the win on that one. The 250 class was business as usual for Ricky Carmicheal with the win and another bite out of Vuillemen's points lead. At least this year Ricky has something to shoot for now.

The world famous Anaheim "A".

Everyone who is anyone can be seen in the pits.

Even Vintage Iron was on hand for a
quick history lesson in motocross.

An awesome view of the starting line.

This is a day shot of the SX track.

Another shot of the SX track before the big show.

Tim Ferry was injured but his super thumper
was there to see. Factory Yamaha at it's best.

Nathan Ramsey was in the house. His
factory Honda is trick.

John-Sabastian Roy's Blackfoot Honda
was easy on the eyes.

Kyle Lewis and the Moto 3X team is
